Getting There

  • Car

    From the center of Tønsberg, head south on Storgata toward Øvre Langgate. Continue onto Rv. 308 for approximately 10 km. Take the exit toward Tjøme and follow Fv. 302 for about 8 km. Turn right onto Helgerødveien and follow the signs to Færder National Park. The park entrance is located at Helgerødveien 590, 3145 Tjøme. Parking may be available nearby, but check for any potential fees.

  • Public Transportation

    From Tønsberg, take bus number 02 towards Tjøme. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Get off at Tjøme sentrum bus stop. From there, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) following the signs to Færder National Park or take a local taxi if you prefer a quicker option. Taxi services may incur additional costs.

  • Ferry

    If you're coming from Sandefjord, you can take the ferry to Tjøme. The ferry departs from Sandefjord and arrives at Tjøme, and the journey takes about 1 hour.
