Getting there

Car

If you are traveling by car, start from Sandefjord city center. Head southeast on Storgata toward Bøleveien. Continue onto Bøleveien, then take a slight left onto Rådhusgata. Merge onto E18 toward Oslo. Take exit 33 toward Sandefjord and follow signs for Vardenlia. Turn left at the first intersection onto Vardenlia. Vardåsen will be on your left at the end of the road. Parking is available nearby. The journey should take about 15 minutes depending on traffic.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, take the bus from Sandefjord Sentrum to Sandefjord Vardåsen. Buses run regularly, and you can check the schedule online or at the bus station. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Vardåsen stop, it is a short walk to the scenic spot. Make sure to have a valid ticket, which can be purchased at the bus station or through the transportation app. The cost is approximately 50 NOK for a single journey.

Walking

If you are already nearby and prefer to walk, from Sandefjord city center, head southeast on Storgata and continue onto Bøleveien. Walk for about 2 kilometers, which will take around 25-30 minutes. Follow the road signs for Vardåsen to guide you. The path is mostly flat and offers scenic views along the way.
