Car
If you are starting your journey in Bergen, take the E39 highway heading towards Førde. After about 120 km, take the exit towards Route 5 towards Sandeim/Matre. Continue on Route 5 for approximately 25 km until you reach Matre. Follow the signs for Matrefjorden once you enter the area.

From Bergen, take a bus from the Bergen Bus Station to Førde. The bus ride takes about 2.5 hours. Once in Førde, transfer to a local bus heading to Sandeim.
