Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Bergen. Head southeast on Bryggen towards Rasmus Meyers allé. Turn left onto Rasmus Meyers allé and then right onto Håkonsgaten. Continue onto Kalfarveien (E39) and follow the signs for Fløyfjellet. The drive is approximately 20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Fløyfjellet, you can park at the designated parking area. There may be a parking fee, so check local signage for costs.
Public Transportation
To reach Trollskogen via public transportation, take bus line 5 from Bergen Bus Station towards Fløibanen. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Fløibanen stop. From there, it is a short walk to the Fløyfjellet area where Trollskogen is located. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they can vary by day and time.
Walking
If you are in Bergen and prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route from the city center to Fløyfjellet. Start at Bryggen and follow the path up to Fløibanen. This walk takes approximately 1 hour and is quite steep, but it offers beautiful views of the city and surrounding nature. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for elevation changes.
