Getting there

Car

From Voss, head east on Rv13 towards Ulvik. The journey is approximately 30 kilometers and will take around 30-40 minutes. Follow Rv13 through the scenic landscapes, passing by the beautiful Lake Guddal. Upon approaching Ulvik, follow the signs to the town center. Be aware that there may be tolls on the Rv13 road, so keep some Norwegian Kroner (NOK) handy.

Bus

Take the bus from Voss to Ulvik. You can catch the bus from the Voss bus station, located near the train station. Check the timetable for the specific bus you need; the journey typically takes about 45 minutes. The bus service is operated by Trafikkselskapet, and you can purchase your ticket at the station or via their website. Fares are around NOK 75 for a one-way trip.

Train and Bus Combination

Take a train from Voss to Granvin. First, make your way to the Voss train station, and catch a train heading towards Myrdal. After a short ride, disembark at Granvin station. From Granvin, you can catch a local bus to Ulvik. The whole journey will take about an hour and a half, and you should check the train and bus schedules in advance. The train ticket may cost around NOK 100, and the bus ticket is approximately NOK 50.
