Public Transit - Bus

From downtown Akron, head to the nearest bus stop on Main Street and catch the METRO RTA bus #1 (Green Line) towards Akron Northside. Ride for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Akron Northside Station'. Transfer to bus #67 (Cleveland Line) heading towards Cleveland. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'West 3rd Street' stop. Walk east for about 5 minutes along West 3rd Street, crossing the bridge to reach The Flats in Cleveland.
Public Transit - Train

From the Akron Northside Station, take the RTA train from the 'Northside Station' to 'Tower City Center' in Cleveland. The train ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Tower City Center, follow the signs to exit towards the waterfront. Head south on West 3rd Street until you reach The Flats, which is just off the river.
Walking

If you are near the Akron Art Museum, start walking towards Main Street and head north. Follow Main Street until you reach the bus stop at 'Main & Market,' where you can catch the bus as described above. If you prefer to walk, it is about a 40-minute walk to the nearest bus station, then follow the Public Transit instructions.
