Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the North Hill neighborhood, head east on East Avenue towards the intersection with East Market Street. Once you reach East Market Street, turn left (north) and continue walking until you reach Peck Road. Turn right onto Peck Road. Continue walking along Peck Road for approximately 0.5 miles. The Indian Signal Tree will be on your right, just past a small parking area.

    From your location in North Hill, you can take the Summit County Metro RTA bus. Look for Route 1 or Route 4. Board the bus heading towards the Akron area and ride it until you reach the stop at East Market Street and Peck Road. This stop is within walking distance to the Indian Signal Tree. After exiting the bus, walk east on Peck Road for about 0.25 miles. The tree will be on your left.
