From anywhere in Appalachian Ohio, get on US-68 N. Follow US-68 N until you reach the intersection with OH-343 in Yellow Springs. Turn right onto OH-343 and continue for about 2 miles. The entrance to Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve will be on your left at 2381 OH-343. There is no entrance fee to access the preserve.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Yellow Springs. Check the local transit authority for the best route. Once you arrive in Yellow Springs, you will need to walk approximately 2 miles to reach Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve. Start by heading north on Xenia Ave, then turn right onto OH-343. Continue on OH-343 until you reach the preserve entrance on your left at 2381 OH-343. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the walk.

For those who enjoy biking, you can ride to Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve from nearby towns. Use local biking trails if available, or bike along US-68 N to the intersection of OH-343.
