Car
From downtown Athens, Ohio, take US-33 East for approximately 14 miles. Take the exit toward OH-32 South and merge onto OH-32 S. Continue on OH-32 for about 8 miles. Take the exit for OH-78 South toward Glouster. Follow OH-78 S for about 14 miles until you reach the entrance of Wayne National Forest, located at Ohio 45778. There is no entry fee for the forest.

Start at the Athens Public Transit station. Take the Route 1 bus toward The Plains and get off at the last stop. From there, you can call a local taxi service or rideshare to take you to Wayne National Forest, which is approximately 15 miles away. Expect to pay around $20-$30 for the taxi or rideshare service.
