To reach the Birthplace of the Ohio Canal at 1405 Hebron Rd, Heath, OH 43056 by car, start on I-70 E from any central location in Columbus. Take exit 126 for US-40 E toward Zanesville. Continue on US-40 E for approximately 25 miles. Merge onto I-79 N toward Heath/Newark. Take exit 38 for OH-79 N. Follow OH-79 N for about 7 miles. Take exit 42 toward Hebron Rd. Turn left onto Hebron Rd. The Birthplace of the Ohio Canal will be on your left.
