Getting There

Public Bus
From Chillicothe, you can take the public bus service that connects to Logan. Check the schedule for the nearest stop, typically at the Chillicothe Transit Center. Board the bus heading towards Logan, and enjoy the scenic ride. The journey may take around 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Logan, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to reach the Hocking Hills State Park Visitor Center. Exit the bus, and head northeast on E Main St toward OH-664 Scenic. After about a mile, turn left onto OH-664 Scenic, and continue for about half a mile until you reach the Visitor Center.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more active route, consider renting a bicycle in Chillicothe. Start at any local bike rental shop in downtown Chillicothe. Once you have your bike, head north on Bridge St, then take a right onto E Main St. Follow E Main St until you reach the intersection with OH-23. Continue onto OH-23 North until you see signs for Logan. This route is approximately 14 miles and will take around 1-1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed. Once you enter Logan, follow the signs directing you to OH-664 Scenic, where the Visitor Center is located.
