From downtown Chillicothe, start at the intersection of East Main Street and North Paint Street. Head east on East Main Street for about 0.6 miles until you reach the intersection with North Bridge Street. Turn left onto North Bridge Street and continue for approximately 0.4 miles until you arrive at the intersection with Crouse Chapel Road. Turn right onto Crouse Chapel Road. Kinnikinnick Fen will be on your right after about 1 mile. The total walking distance is around 2 miles, and it should take approximately 40 minutes.

Take the Chillicothe Public Transit bus from the downtown area. Board a bus heading towards the East side of Chillicothe. You will want to get off at the stop near the intersection of Bridge Street and Crouse Chapel Road. From there, it is a short 0.5-mile walk to Kinnikinnick Fen. Follow Crouse Chapel Road heading north, and you will see the entrance to Kinnikinnick Fen on your right.
