Ensure you check the bus schedule for the next departure. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Laurelville, disembark at the stop closest to OH-374. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles south on OH-374 until you reach Rock House, which will be on your left.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Chillicothe. Start your journey by heading south on Bridge Street, which will lead you towards State Route 23. Follow State Route 23 south until you reach the intersection with OH-374. Take a left onto OH-374 and continue for about 8 miles. Rock House will be on your right. This route is approximately 10 miles and may take around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your cycling speed.

  • Walking

    For those who enjoy walking, you can start from the center of Chillicothe. Head south on Water Street until you reach East Main Street. Turn left onto East Main Street and walk until you reach State Route 23. Cross over to State Route 23 and continue heading south. After approximately 8 miles, you will reach the intersection with OH-374. Turn left onto OH-374 and continue walking for about 1 mile. Rock House will be on your right. This walk is approximately 10 miles and will take around 3 to 4 hours, depending on your pace.
