If you are starting from the center of Chillicothe, head west on East Main Street towards North Paint Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with West 5th Street. Turn right onto West 5th Street. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles, and you will find the Ross County Historical Society at 45 W 5th St on your left. The building is easily identifiable with a sign out front.

If you are near the Chillicothe Transit System bus stop at Main St. & Paint St., take bus route 1 towards the West Side. Get off at the next stop at West 5th Street. From there, walk one block west along West 5th Street for about 0.1 miles, and you will arrive at the Ross County Historical Society located at 45 W 5th St.

If you have access to a bike, you can start from the Chillicothe City Park. Head south on Bridge St. towards East Main St. Turn left onto East Main St. and continue for about 0.8 miles.
