Walking
From Newport, head west towards the Newport Aquarium on Riverboat Row. Walk along the Ohio River until you reach the Purple People Bridge. Cross the bridge into Cincinnati. Once you’re on the Cincinnati side, continue straight until you reach 3rd Street. Turn left onto 3rd Street and walk until you reach Pike Street. Turn right onto Pike Street, and you will find the Taft Museum of Art located at 316 Pike St. The entire walk should take approximately 30 minutes.

Public Transit - Bus
From Newport, walk to the nearest bus stop on Monmouth Street. Take the Metro bus line #1 towards the Government Square. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the Government Square stop. From there, transfer to bus line #46 or #29. Both lines will take you towards the Taft Museum area. Get off at the stop near 4th and Pike Streets. Walk one block north to Pike Street, and you will arrive at the Taft Museum of Art. The bus fare is approximately $2.00.
