If you are near downtown Cleveland, you can take the RTA bus number 1 or 3 from Public Square. Board the bus and travel westbound. Get off at the W. 25th St & Clark Ave stop. From there, transfer to bus number 55 towards the West Side Market. Get off at the W. 25th St & Lorain Ave stop. Walk south for about 10 minutes on W. 25th St until you reach the intersection with Sycamore St. Turn left on Sycamore St, and the Greater Cleveland Aquarium will be on your left at 2000 Sycamore St.

From the Tower City Center, take the Red Line train towards the airport. Get off at the W. 25th St station. Once you exit the station, walk south on W. 25th St towards Lorain Ave. At the intersection with Lorain Ave, turn left. Continue walking until you reach Sycamore St, then turn right. The aquarium will be on your left at 2000 Sycamore St.
