Public Transit - Bus
If you're near a bus stop, you can take the RTA bus lines that serve downtown Cleveland. Look for routes 1, 7, or 15. Board the bus and ask the driver for directions to the Great Lakes Science Center. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Erieside Ave and E 9th St. From there, it's a short walk to 601 Erieside Ave, where the Science Center is located.
Public Transit - Train
If you're near the Tower City Center, you can take the RTA light rail train (the 'Rapid'). Board the Blue or Green Line toward the airport or Shaker Heights respectively. Disembark at the 'Settlers Landing' station. Upon exiting the station, walk southwest towards the waterfront, and then head east along the shoreline to reach 601 Erieside Ave.
Walking
If you're already in downtown Cleveland, the Great Lakes Science Center is within walking distance for many attractions. Head towards Lake Erie by walking east on Lakeside Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Erieside Ave. Turn left on Erieside Ave, and you will see the Great Lakes Science Center at 601 Erieside Ave.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations in downtown Cleveland. Head towards the waterfront bike path and follow it east along the lake. This scenic route will take you directly to the Great Lakes Science Center at 601 Erieside Ave.
