Public Bus
From Oregon District, walk to the nearest bus stop at 5th & Brown Street. Catch the RTA Route 8 bus towards the Wright Stop Plaza. Ride the bus for approximately 25 minutes, then transfer to Route 43 at the Wright Stop Plaza. Take Route 43 towards Wright-Patterson AFB and get off at the Memorial stop. The Wright Brothers Memorial is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop at 2380 Memorial Rd.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Oregon District. Head east on E 5th St towards S Keowee St, then turn left onto S Keowee St. Continue until you reach Memorial Rd. Follow Memorial Rd for about 2.5 miles; the Wright Brothers Memorial will be on your left. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace.
Walking
For those who enjoy walking, you can take a scenic route to the Wright Brothers Memorial. Start from Oregon District and head east on E 5th St until you reach S Keowee St. Turn left on S Keowee and walk straight until you reach Memorial Rd. Turn right onto Memorial Rd, and continue walking for about 2 miles. The Memorial will be on your left. This walk will take around 40-50 minutes, so wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the sights along the way.
