Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start by getting onto I-70 W from your current location in Eastern Ohio. Depending on where you are, you may need to follow local roads to connect to I-70. Once on I-70 W, continue for approximately 80 miles until you reach the exit for I-71 N towards Columbus. Follow I-71 N for about 15 miles. Take exit 111A for E Broad St towards US-40 E. Merge onto E Broad St and continue for about 3 miles. Then, turn left onto E 17th Ave. The Ohio History Center will be on your right at 800 E 17th Ave, Columbus, OH 43211. Make sure to check for parking options upon arrival, as there may be fees associated with parking.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Columbus from any major city in Eastern Ohio. Once you arrive at the Greyhound station in Columbus, you can take the COTA bus service. Catch the #1 bus towards the Eastland Mall from the nearest bus stop. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes and get off at the stop near E 17th Ave. Walk east on E 17th Ave for about 5 minutes until you reach the Ohio History Center at 800 E 17th Ave, Columbus, OH 43211. Be sure to check the COTA website for current bus schedules and fares.
