From Firelands, get onto US-250 E towards Sandusky. Follow US-250 E for approximately 30 miles. Merge onto I-71 S toward Columbus. Continue on I-71 S for about 60 miles. Take exit 111A for E Broad St toward Columbus. Merge onto E Broad St and then turn right onto E 17th Ave. The Ohio History Center will be on your right at 800 E 17th Ave, Columbus, OH 43211. Please note that parking may incur a fee, typically around $5.

From Firelands, take a local bus to the nearest Greyhound station, which may require a transfer depending on your starting point. Once at the Greyhound station, purchase a ticket to Columbus. The journey might take about 2-3 hours. After arriving in Columbus, you can take the COTA bus route 2 (East Main St) to E 17th Ave. Get off at the stop closest to 800 E 17th Ave. The Ohio History Center is just a short walk from the bus stop.
