Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Grand River Valley, head southwest on State Route 528 towards US-6. Merge onto US-6 W and continue for approximately 16 miles. Take the exit for I-77 S toward Akron and merge onto I-77 S. Continue on I-77 S for about 11 miles. Take exit 22B for US-224 W toward Akron and continue for about 3 miles. Turn right onto Peck Rd. The Indian Signal Tree will be on your right. Parking is available near the site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Indian Signal Tree via public transportation, you can take a bus from Grand River Valley. Start at the nearest bus stop and take the bus to the nearest transit center where you can catch a Greyhound or Megabus to Akron. Once in Akron, you can use local public transportation like the METRO RTA bus. Check the METRO RTA schedule to find the right bus route that takes you to Peck Rd. Make sure to have cash or a transit card for fare payment, which typically costs around $2.00 per ride.

• Cycling

  For those adventurous enough to bike, you can start from Grand River Valley and take the same route mentioned for driving. Follow State Route 528 to US-6 W, then merge onto I-77 S. Note that biking on highways can be dangerous; use caution and consider local roads when possible. Once you reach Peck Rd, you can park your bike in designated areas or locks near the Indian Signal Tree. Always wear a helmet and follow local cycling laws.
