Getting There

Public Bus
If you are starting from downtown Akron, take the Summit Metro Parks bus route 2. Board the bus at the Akron Metro Transit Center located at 631 S. Broadway St. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings. Ride the bus until you reach the stop at Sand Run Parkway. After getting off, walk east along Sand Run Parkway. Mingo Lodge is located at 1501 Sand Run Parkway, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
Rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs available in Akron. Start at the Akron Civic Theatre and head east on Main St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with E. Market St. Turn right onto E. Market St and ride until you reach Sand Run Parkway. Follow Sand Run Parkway north for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach Mingo Lodge, located at 1501 Sand Run Parkway. Make sure to follow all traffic rules and wear a helmet for safety.

If you are close to the Sand Run Parkway area, simply walk towards Sand Run Parkway from your location. If you are near the Akron Zoo, head northwest on Broad St towards the intersection with E. Market St. Turn left onto E. Market St and continue walking until you reach Sand Run Parkway. Once you arrive at Sand Run Parkway, walk north for about 1 mile until you reach Mingo Lodge at 1501 Sand Run Parkway. The walk should take around 20-30 minutes.
