If you are starting from the center of Marietta, head south on Front Street. You will want to walk towards the Ohio River. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. The Memorial to the Start Westward will be located on your left, directly along Front Street, near the riverbank.

From the Marietta College campus, exit onto 7th Street and head south. Continue until you reach Front Street, then turn left. Follow Front Street for approximately 0.4 miles, and you will see the Memorial to the Start Westward on your right, just before reaching the river.

If you are near the Marietta Bus Stop located at the corner of 2nd and Butler streets, take the bus route that heads towards the downtown area. Get off at the Main Street stop, which is a short walk from Front Street. From there, walk down Main Street towards the Ohio River, then turn right onto Front Street.
