• Car

  To reach Imagination Station from Maumee Bay State Park by car, start by exiting the park onto Bayshore Road. Turn left onto State Route 2 W and follow it for about 10 miles. Take the exit toward Downtown Toledo and merge onto I-75 S. Continue on I-75 S for approximately 5 miles, then take exit 201A for I-280 S toward the Ohio Turnpike. Merge onto I-280 S and follow signs for downtown Toledo. Take exit 1A onto Summit Street. Continue straight onto Jefferson Avenue, and then turn right on Discovery Way. Imagination Station will be on your left at 1 Discovery Way, Toledo, OH 43604. Parking may incur a fee, so be sure to have cash or a credit card ready.

  If you're using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Maumee Bay State Park to the nearest bus station. You may need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the nearest bus stop, as options may be limited. Once you reach the bus station, check for a route that goes to Toledo. The Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) operates several routes that lead to downtown Toledo. After arriving at the downtown Toledo stop, it’s about a 10-minute walk to Imagination Station. Head south on Summit Street, then turn right onto Jefferson Avenue, and finally turn right onto Discovery Way to reach your destination.
