Car
From Maumee Bay State Park, head southwest on N Shore Dr toward E Beach Rd. Continue on N Shore Dr for about 1.5 miles. Turn left onto OH-51 S (also known as N Summit St) and continue for approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto W River Rd, and after about 0.5 miles, you will find Side Cut Metropark on your left at 1025 W River Rd, Maumee, OH 43537. There is no parking fee at the park.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you will need to take a bus from Maumee Bay State Park to a nearby bus stop. Start by walking to the nearest bus stop, which may require walking about 1 mile to the closest stop at the intersection of OH-51 and E Beach Rd. From there, take the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) bus route that heads towards downtown Toledo. Transfer at the downtown Toledo bus terminal to a bus heading towards Maumee. Get off at the stop closest to W River Rd. Once you get off the bus, you'll need to walk about 0.5 miles north on W River Rd to reach Side Cut Metropark.
