Car
If you're driving, head towards 5470 Patriot Dr, Toledo, OH 43611. From central Maumee Valley, take the OH-25 N (North) towards Toledo. Merge onto I-75 N and follow the signs for Toledo. Take exit 198 toward OH-295 N. Continue on OH-295 N and follow the signs for the Shoreland Park exit. Turn left onto Patriot Dr, and the park will be on your right. There is no admission fee to enter the park.
Public Transportation
To reach Shoreland Park by public transport, first take a local bus from Maumee Valley to the Toledo Area Regional Transit Authority (TARTA) Central Station. From there, transfer to the bus line that heads towards the North Toledo area. Make sure to check the TARTA schedule for the most current routes and times. Once you arrive in the vicinity of Patriot Dr, you may need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes to reach the park. Be prepared for a modest fare for the bus ride, typically around $1.50.
Bike
For the more adventurous, biking is an option. From Maumee Valley, navigate through local bike paths toward the Maumee River. Follow the river north, connecting to local bike routes that lead to Toledo. Once you reach the area near Patriot Dr, follow the bike lanes to Shoreland Park. Ensure you have a bike lock with you, as there are bike racks available at the park.
