If you are driving, navigate to Riverwalk, Maumee, OH 43537. From central Maumee Valley, take the US-20 W exit toward Toledo and continue to follow US-20 W. Merge onto I-475 N toward Detroit. Take exit 14 for US-24 N toward Maumee. Follow signs for OH-65 S and merge onto River Rd. Continue straight to stay on River Rd, and you will arrive at the Sidecut Lock to the Maumee River.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, check local bus routes that service the Maumee Valley area. You can use the TARTA bus service which connects various parts of Toledo and Maumee. Look for a route that stops at River Rd. After arriving at the nearest bus stop, walk south on River Rd for approximately 10-15 minutes until you reach the Sidecut Lock entrance.
