    Getting There

    Car

    If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto I-75 N from your location in Miami Valley. Follow the signs for I-75 N towards Dayton. Take exit 52B for I-70 E toward Columbus, then immediately take exit 44 for US-35 W. Merge onto US-35 W and continue for about 3 miles. Take the exit toward Keowee St and turn left onto Keowee St. After about 1 mile, turn right onto E Helena St. Island MetroPark will be on your left at 101 E Helena St, Dayton, OH 45405. There is no entrance fee for the park, but parking may be limited during peak hours.

    Public Transportation

    For public transportation, you can take the Greater Dayton RTA bus service. Start by finding the nearest bus stop for Route 1 (which runs from the Miami Valley area to downtown Dayton). Board the bus and travel towards the downtown area. Once you arrive at the downtown bus terminal, transfer to Route 4, which heads toward the East End. Get off at the stop nearest to Keowee St. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to Island MetroPark. Walk north on Keowee St and then turn right onto E Helena St. The park entrance will be on your left. Be sure to check the RTA schedule for any fares and transfer times.
