Car
From anywhere in Southeast Ohio, head towards McArthur, OH. If you're coming from Athens, take US-50 E towards McArthur. Merge onto OH-93 N and continue until you reach the intersection with Hope-Moonville Rd. Turn left onto Hope-Moonville Rd. The Moonville Tunnel will be on your left after approximately 3.5 miles. There is a small parking area nearby.

Once in McArthur, you may need to arrange for a local taxi service or rideshare to reach Moonville Tunnel, as public transit may not go directly to the site.

After parking your car at the nearby parking area, you will need to walk approximately half a mile on a gravel path to reach the Moonville Tunnel. The path is well-marked and follows the old railroad bed. Be prepared for uneven ground and wear comfortable shoes.
