If you are driving from Southeast Ohio, take US-33 W towards Columbus. Continue on US-33 W for approximately 50 miles. Merge onto I-270 N toward Cleveland. After about 10 miles, take exit 24A to merge onto I-71 N toward Columbus. Continue on I-71 N for about 6 miles and take exit 111A for Broad St. Turn left onto E Broad St, then turn right onto S High St. The Ohio Statehouse will be on your left at 1 Capitol Square. There is metered street parking available, as well as parking garages nearby, which may incur a fee.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To travel by bus, first get to a local bus station in Southeast Ohio. Use the Greyhound or Megabus services to reach Columbus, which typically have multiple daily departures. Once in Columbus, you can take the COTA (Central Ohio Transit Authority) bus. Take the #1 or #2 bus lines heading toward Downtown. Get off at the stop near the Statehouse, which is located at 1 Capitol Square. Train
If you prefer traveling by train, check Amtrak services available from nearby cities. You will need to take a train to Columbus Union Station. Once you arrive at the station, you can either walk (approximately 1 mile) or take a local bus (COTA) from the station to the Ohio Statehouse. Walking would take about 20 minutes, while the bus ride would take around 10 minutes, with a fare of about $2.
