Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Western Reserve and head towards the nearest major road. Use a GPS or a map application to navigate to 4361 W National Rd, Dayton, OH 45414. If you're coming from the center of Western Reserve, take State Route 43 South, then merge onto I-480 W. Continue on I-480 W, then merge onto I-70 W. Take the exit towards I-75 N, and use exit 58B for National Rd. Follow National Rd to Englewood MetroPark. There is no parking fee at the park.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take the regional bus service from Western Reserve to Dayton. Check the local transit authority for schedules and routes. Once you arrive in Dayton, transfer to a bus that follows the route towards Englewood MetroPark. The closest bus stop to the park is on National Rd, a short walk from the main entrance. Please check for any fare requirements for the bus service.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, ensure you have a bicycle-friendly route mapped out. Start from any point in Western Reserve and use local bike paths or roads that allow cycling. The park is accessible via several biking trails in the area. Bring a bike lock as you will need it to secure your bike at the park entrance.

• Walking

  Walking to Englewood MetroPark is a viable option if you are already nearby. From Western Reserve, follow local sidewalks toward National Rd. Be aware that it may take some time, so ensure you have a map or GPS to guide you along the safest and most direct route. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
