Car
Starting from downtown Lima, Ohio, head west on W Market St toward N Main St. Continue on this road for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Bellefontaine Rd (State Route 117). Turn right onto Bellefontaine Rd and drive approximately 3 miles. Look for Lippincott Bird Sanctuary on your left at 3093 Bellefontaine Rd. There is free parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Allen County Public Transit (ACPT) bus service. Check the current bus schedule for routes that head towards Bellefontaine Rd. You may need to transfer at the Lima Transit Center to catch a bus that goes towards the sanctuary. Once you arrive at the nearest stop on Bellefontaine Rd, it will be a short walk (about 0.5 miles) to Lippincott Bird Sanctuary at 3093 Bellefontaine Rd.
Bicycle
For those cycling, start from downtown Lima and take the same route as cars. Use bike lanes wherever available on W Market St and Bellefontaine Rd. The ride is approximately 4 miles and can take around 20-30 minutes depending on your pace. There are bike racks available at Lippincott Bird Sanctuary for securing your bicycle.
