If you are starting in downtown Zanesville, begin by walking south on Main Street towards the intersection with 5th Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Maple Avenue. Turn right onto Maple Avenue and follow it as it curves into State Route 60. Continue on State Route 60 for approximately 1.5 miles until you see the entrance to Powelson Wildlife Area on your left. The area is well marked and is a short walk from the entrance.

From downtown Zanesville, start by heading south on Main Street. Once you reach the intersection with 5th Street, turn right and head west until you reach Maple Avenue. Turn left onto Maple Avenue, and then merge onto State Route 60. As you bike along State Route 60, you will travel for about 1.5 miles. Keep an eye out for Powelson Wildlife Area on your left; there should be signs for easy navigation.
