Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Beavers Bend State Park, start at the Beavers Bend State Park entrance on Highway 259A. After entering, continue on the main road, which will eventually curve into North Park Road. Follow this road for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with Unnamed Road. Turn left onto Unnamed Road and continue for approximately 0.5 miles. You will find the entrance to the Beaver Lodge Nature Trail on your right.

• Public Transportation

  Currently, there are limited public transportation options available directly to Beavers Bend State Park. However, if you are using a shuttle service from nearby towns, confirm with the service provider that they drop off at Beavers Bend State Park. Upon arrival at the Park entrance, you will need to walk or use a rental bike to reach Beaver Lodge Nature Trail, which is about a 1-mile walk from the park entrance. Follow the main road into the park and then take the path that leads to the Unnamed Road, where the trail entrance is located.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike to Beaver Lodge Nature Trail, rent a bicycle at one of the local rental shops in Broken Bow before heading to Beavers Bend State Park. Once in the park, follow the same directions as if driving. Biking along North Park Road will provide a scenic route to the trailhead. Ensure you wear a helmet and stay on designated paths for safety.

• Walking

  If you are already within Beavers Bend State Park and prefer to walk, start from the nearest park cabin or lodge. Depending on your location within the park, you may need to navigate through park trails and roads. Look for signs directing you to Beaver Lodge Nature Trail, which is approximately a 1 to 2-mile walk from the park's main lodge area. Use a park map to assist with your navigation.
