Car
From Black Mesa State Park, head southeast on State Highway 325 (OK-325) towards the town of Kenton. Continue on OK-325 for about 40 miles until you reach the junction with US-283. Turn left onto US-283 South and continue for approximately 22 miles until you reach the town of Altus. In Altus, take the exit for US-62 East and follow it for about 25 miles. You will then merge onto US-271 North, which will take you directly to Spiro. Upon entering Spiro, turn left onto North 1st Street, and the Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center will be located on your right at 18154 North 1st Street. The total drive time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on traffic.
