Car
If you're traveling by car, start on US-62 E from any location in Eastern Oklahoma. Follow US-62 E for approximately 40 miles until you reach the intersection with US-64. Take a left onto US-64 N and continue for about 10 miles. Then, take the exit for Jet and follow the signs to Jet, OK. Once in Jet, turn onto S Spillway Dr. Continue on S Spillway Dr, and you will arrive at Salt Plains State Park, located at 23280 S Spillway Dr, Jet, OK 73749.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you may start your journey from major cities such as Oklahoma City or Tulsa. Use the Greyhound bus service to reach the nearest town to Salt Plains State Park, which is Alva, OK. From Alva, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Jet, OK, as public transportation options are limited. The distance from Alva to Jet is approximately 30 miles, which will cost around $50-$70 for a taxi.
Bicycle
