If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, such as Fort Smith, Arkansas. Head west on I-40 and take exit 2 for US-271 S toward Poteau. Follow US-271 S for approximately 25 miles until you reach Spiro. Once you enter Spiro, turn right onto N 1st St. The Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center will be on your left at 18154 N 1st St, Spiro, OK 74959. Please note that parking is available on-site.
