Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from downtown Edmond, head south on Broadway Ave toward 2nd St. Continue straight to merge onto S Boulevard St. Follow this road until it turns into E 2nd St. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with S Kelly Ave. Turn left onto S Kelly Ave and walk south until it intersects with W 15th St. Turn right onto W 15th St and continue walking until you reach the intersection with E Memorial Rd. Cross E Memorial Rd and continue straight until you reach Lake Hefner Pkwy. You may need to navigate through additional local streets, as pedestrian access may vary. Follow signs to Lake Hefner and keep walking until you reach the Lighthouse at Lake Hefner.

• Biking

  For a biking route, start at the Edmond Trail along the east side of Broadway Ave. Follow this path south, which will connect to the city's bikeways. You'll want to ride toward S Boulevard St, then take E 2nd St toward the intersection with S Kelly Ave. Continue biking south on S Kelly Ave. Once you reach E Memorial Rd, you can follow the designated bike routes that lead to Lake Hefner Pkwy. Keep your destination in sight, and follow the trails to reach the Lighthouse on Lake Hefner.

• Public Transit

  To get to the Lighthouse using public transit, start by locating the nearest bus stop in Edmond. You can catch the EMBARK bus service (Route 7) that operates between Edmond and Oklahoma City. Board the bus heading south towards Oklahoma City and get off at the stop nearest to E Memorial Rd and Lake Hefner Pkwy. From there, it might require a short walk (approximately 15-20 minutes) to reach the Lighthouse. Be sure to check the bus schedule for the most accurate timings and routes.
