If you're traveling by car, start your journey by heading towards Durant, Oklahoma. Fort Washita Historic Site is located at 3348 OK-199, Durant, OK 74701. From downtown Durant, take US-70 E and then merge onto OK-199. Follow OK-199 for approximately 3 miles, and you will see the site on your right. Parking is available on-site, and there is no entry fee.
