Getting There

• Car

  From Tulsa, take US-169 N towards the Owasso area. Continue on US-169 N for about 30 miles. Take the exit onto OK-20 W toward Wagoner and follow it for approximately 22 miles. Merge onto OK-99 N and continue until you reach Pawhuska. Once in Pawhuska, turn left onto Co Rd 4275. Continue straight for about 3 miles until you reach Bluestem Falls. There is no entry fee; however, be aware that parking may be limited during peak visiting hours.

• Public Transportation

  You can take a Greyhound bus from Tulsa to Pawhuska. Once you arrive in Pawhuska, you will need to arrange for a local taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to take you to Bluestem Falls, as public transportation options within Pawhuska are limited. The taxi ride from the bus station to Bluestem Falls will take about 15-20 minutes and may cost around $15-$25.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and wish to cycle, you can bike from Pawhuska to Bluestem Falls. Start from the center of Pawhuska and head west on OK-20 for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Co Rd 4275. The total distance from the center of Pawhuska to Bluestem Falls is approximately 5 miles. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic regulations. This route can be scenic but requires a good level of fitness and cycling experience.

• Walking

  If you are already in Pawhuska and prefer to walk, you can take a walking path from the downtown area. Start from the Osage County Courthouse, head west towards OK-20, then follow Co Rd 4275. It's about a 5-mile walk to reach Bluestem Falls, and it may take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, especially during warmer months.
