Getting There

• Public Bus

  From the center of Lawton, head to the nearest bus stop at the Lawton Transit Center located at 210 SW 11th St. Take the bus route that goes towards Fort Sill. Inform the bus driver that you are heading to the Fort Sill National Historic Landmark and Museum. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Fort Sill entrance, follow the signs to the museum located at 435 Quanah Rd.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Lawton. Start from the Lawton Public Library at 110 SW 4th St, heading south on 4th St. Continue straight until you reach SW Lee Blvd. Turn left onto SW Lee Blvd and ride until you reach Fort Sill. Once you reach the main entrance of Fort Sill, follow the road signs to the museum at 435 Quanah Rd. The ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and want to walk, start from the Lawton Public Library at 110 SW 4th St. Head south on 4th St and make a left onto SW Lee Blvd. Continue walking straight for approximately 2 miles. You will see the entrance to Fort Sill on your left. Once inside Fort Sill, follow the signs to the Fort Sill National Historic Landmark and Museum at 435 Quanah Rd. This walk may take around 40-50 minutes.

  Open the rideshare app on your smartphone (like Uber or Lyft). Set your pickup location to your current location in Lawton and enter the destination as 'Fort Sill National Historic Landmark and Museum, 435 Quanah Rd, Fort Sill, OK 73503'.
