Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Norman, head south on Main Street towards E Lindsey Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with S Porter Ave. Turn right onto S Porter Ave and continue walking until you reach W Imhoff Rd. Turn left on W Imhoff Rd, which will become SW 24th Ave. Follow this road until you hit the intersection with SH-9. Here you will need to find public transportation options or rideshare services to get to Oklahoma City, as the Wheeler Ferris Wheel is located at 1701 S Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109.

• Public Transport

  Start at the Norman Central Station (located at 200 S Jones Ave). Take the EMBARK bus route 100 towards Oklahoma City. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the stop at SW 29th St & Western Ave. From there, walk south on Western Ave for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the Wheeler Ferris Wheel at 1701 S Western Ave.

• Biking

  If you are comfortable biking, rent a bike from a local bike-sharing program. Start from downtown Norman and head south on Main Street until you reach E Lindsey Street. Turn right onto E Lindsey Street and continue south, then take a left onto S Porter Ave. Continue straight until you reach SH-9, then follow the bike lanes towards Oklahoma City. Once you reach the area of the Wheeler District, navigate to 1701 S Western Ave, where you will find the Ferris Wheel.
