    Start from the center of Norman, at the corner of Main Street and University Blvd. Head east on Main Street until you reach 24th Avenue NW. Turn right (south) on 24th Avenue NW. Continue south until you reach Alameda Drive. Turn left (east) on Alameda Drive, and follow it until you reach Lake Thunderbird State Park, which will be on your right. The park entrance is located at 13101 Alameda Dr, Norman, OK 73026.

    From the central bus station in Norman, take the Norman City Bus Route that services the area. You will need to take the bus that goes towards 12th Avenue SE. Get off at the nearest stop to Alameda Drive. From there, it's a short walk heading east on Alameda Drive until you reach the entrance of Lake Thunderbird State Park at 13101 Alameda Dr, Norman, OK 73026.
