Getting There

• Car

You will pass through towns such as Hydro and Weatherford. Once you reach Fairview, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Gloss Mountain State Park. The park is located directly off US-412, and you will see the entrance to Gloss Mountain State Park at the coordinates 36.3631° N, 98.5804° W. There is no entrance fee for the park, but make sure your vehicle is in good condition as the roads can be rural and less maintained.

  For those relying on public transportation, you will first need to take a Greyhound bus or a similar service to the nearest major city, such as Enid or Weatherford, Oklahoma. From there, you will need to arrange a local taxi or rideshare service to take you to Gloss Mountain State Park. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently.
