Car
If you are driving along the Talimena Scenic Byway, head towards Hodgen, Oklahoma. From the scenic byway, take the exit onto OK-1 S (also known as the Talimena Scenic Drive) heading south. Continue for approximately 20 miles until you reach a junction with Co Rd 295. Turn left onto Co Rd 295. After about 2 miles, you will arrive at the Beech Creek National Scenic And Botanical Area, located on the right side. There is no entrance fee for the area, making it accessible for all visitors.

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from nearby towns to reach Talihina, Oklahoma, which is close to the Talimena Scenic Byway. Once you arrive in Talihina, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to Beech Creek National Scenic And Botanical Area, as public transport options may be limited. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost around $30-$50, depending on the service used. From the drop-off point on Co Rd 295, it's a short walk to the entrance of the botanical area.
