If you are driving, start from downtown Tulsa and take the US-64 E/US-169 N ramp toward the Broken Arrow Expressway. Merge onto US-64 E and continue for about 4 miles. Take the exit toward 51st St and turn right onto E 51st St. Continue for about 1 mile until you reach S Lewis Ave. Turn left onto S Lewis Ave and continue for about 1.5 miles. Finally, turn right onto E 41st St which leads you directly to Mist Mountain located in Gathering Place, 2650 S John Williams Way.
Public Transportation
To reach Mist Mountain using public transportation, start by locating the nearest Tulsa Transit bus stop. Take the Route 205 bus toward 61st St & Peoria Ave. Ride for approximately 15-20 minutes and get off at the stop near 51st & Lewis. From there, walk south on S Lewis Ave for about 10 minutes, then turn right onto E 41st St, which will lead you directly to Mist Mountain at Gathering Place. Bus fare is approximately $1.50 per ride.
Bicycle
For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a nearby bike-sharing program. Start in downtown Tulsa and head east on the Tulsa River Parks Trail. The trail will take you through scenic views along the Arkansas River. After about 3 miles, follow the signs to the Gathering Place, where Mist Mountain is located. Make sure to wear a helmet and check the bike rental fees, which typically range from $5 to $10 per hour.
Walking
If you are in close proximity to Gathering Place, you can simply walk to Mist Mountain. Head towards S John Williams Way and follow the signs directing you to Gathering Place. The park is open from 7 AM to 9 PM daily, so plan your visit accordingly. Enjoy the scenic walk through the park, as it offers beautiful landscapes and various attractions along the way.
