Walking
From the heart of Cherry Street, head south on S Peoria Ave. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E 61st St. Turn left onto E 61st St and walk for another 0.3 miles. You will want to keep an eye out for the monument, which is located at 5841 S Yale Ave, just a short distance from the intersection.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Cherry Street. Start at the Cherry Street District and head south on S Peoria Ave. After approximately 0.5 miles, turn left onto E 61st St. Continue for another 0.3 miles. The total biking distance is about 1.6 miles, and there are bike lanes available along most parts of the route.
Public Transit
For those who wish to use public transit, you can catch the Tulsa Transit bus at the nearest stop in Cherry Street. Look for Bus Route 103. Take the bus heading south towards the South Tulsa area. Get off at the '61st & Yale' stop, which is the closest stop to The Herd monument. From there, it is just a short walk (about 0.2 miles) north on S Yale Ave to reach the monument located at 5841 S Yale Ave.
