Cyrus Avery Centennial Plaza: A Tribute to Tulsa's Heritage

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Tulsa, head west on East 4th Street until you reach South Boston Avenue. Turn left (south) onto South Boston Avenue and continue until you reach West 6th Street. Turn right (west) onto West 6th Street and proceed straight until you hit South Elgin Avenue. At South Elgin Avenue, turn left (south) and continue until you reach West 11th Street. Turn right (west) on West 11th Street, which will take you directly towards the Arkansas River. After crossing the river, you will find Cyrus Avery Centennial Plaza on your left at Southwest Blvd.

• Public Transit

  From Tulsa's downtown, catch the Tulsa Transit bus Route 11 at the nearest bus stop. Ride the bus heading westbound and disembark at the stop near West 11th Street and South Elgin Avenue. After getting off the bus, walk west on West 11th Street. Keep walking straight until you reach the Arkansas River; the Cyrus Avery Centennial Plaza will be located to your left at Southwest Blvd.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to bike, start from downtown Tulsa and head west on East 4th Street until you reach South Boston Avenue. Turn left onto South Boston Avenue, then right onto West 6th Street. Continue straight until you reach South Elgin Avenue, turn left and continue until you reach West 11th Street. At West 11th Street, turn right and bike west towards the Arkansas River. Once you cross the river, Cyrus Avery Centennial Plaza will be on your left at Southwest Blvd.
