Getting There

  • Car

    From Oklahoma City, take I-44 N for approximately 60 miles, then merge onto US-412 W. Continue on US-412 for about 135 miles until you reach Fairview. Gloss Mountain State Park is located just off US-412. Look for signage indicating the park entrance, which will be on your right.

  • Car

    If you are traveling from Enid, take US-81 N for about 40 miles. Once you reach the town of Hydro, take the ramp onto I-40 W. After about 50 miles, take exit 101 for US-283 N. Continue on US-283 N until you reach US-412. Turn left onto US-412 W, and follow it for approximately 30 miles to Fairview. The park entrance will be on your right.

  • Public Transportation

    Public transportation options are limited in this rural area. However, if you are able to get to a major city like Oklahoma City, you can take a Greyhound bus to Fairview. Once in Fairview, you would need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach Gloss Mountain State Park, which is about 10 miles away from the bus station.
