Car

If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the city center of Al Hajar Ash Sharqi. Head towards the main road (Route 23) and drive northwest. Follow the signs toward Bahla, which is approximately a 30-minute drive (around 30 km). Once you reach Bahla, look for signs directing you to Jabreen Castle. The castle is located just a few kilometers outside of Bahla, signposted clearly. Parking is available near the entrance, and there is usually no fee.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from the Al Hajar Ash Sharqi bus station to Bahla. The bus ride takes approximately 45 minutes and costs around 1 Omani Rial. Once you arrive at the Bahla bus station, you can either take a taxi or a local minibus to Jabreen Castle, which is about 5 km away. Taxis are typically available at the bus station, and the fare to the castle should not exceed 2 Omani Rials.

If you are staying close to Bahla, you can walk to Jabreen Castle. From the center of Bahla, head east on the main road towards Jabreen Castle. The distance is approximately 5 km, which should take about an hour on foot. Be sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes, as the route may not have sidewalks in all sections.
